On 5 February 2026, Switzerland Innovation Park Innovaare hosted the information session “Innosuisse at a Glance – Funding Opportunities Overview”. The event provided startups, researchers and SMEs with a concise and practical introduction to the funding instruments offered by Innosuisse, the Swiss Innovation Agency.

The session was led by Marco Romanelli, Mentor for Innosuisse and Innovation Expert at Hightech Zentrum Aargau, who shared valuable insights into how innovation projects can be supported from early ideas through to market readiness. Participants gained an overview of national and international innovation projects, startup coaching and support programmes, as well as opportunities for international collaboration.

Beyond funding mechanisms, the event also highlighted how to strategically approach innovation projects and successfully navigate the application process. The session offered concrete guidance for organisations aiming to accelerate their innovation activities and strengthen collaboration between industry and research.

The event concluded with a Thirsty Thursday networking apéro, providing space for informal exchange, discussion of project ideas and the strengthening of connections within the innovation community at Park Innovaare.
