A place to innovate
PARK INNOVAARE is an innovation center situated next to the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI and its state-of-the-art accelerator-based large research facilities. The companies based here profit from extensive opportunities for collaboration with leading experts from industry and academia, modern office and lab infrastructure, and a focused support program for business development and R&D project realization.
Innovation center for accelerator technology
Driven by the Paul Scherrer Institute’s expertise in accelerator technology, innovations in the fields of advanced materials and processes, humans and health, and energy are being transformed into marketable products and solutions.
State-of-the-art campus for innovative R&D
To help bring inventions from the lab to the market and specifically support spin-offs, start-ups, SMEs, and big companies seeking to collaborate with the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI, PARK INNOVAARE is building a state-of-the-art campus with office and lab space optimized for specific R&D needs.
Become a part of the network
Not only is PARK INNOVAARE an integral part of the innovation ecosystem of the canton of Aargau – it is also one of the founding sites of the national initiative Switzerland Innovation Park. It is thus part of the national innovation network uniting leading universities, R&D centers, and industry players from all over the country.
THE SWISS BIC OF CERN TECHNOLOGIES
To bridge the gap between basic science and industry, PARK INNOVAARE together with CERN, the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI, and FHNW, launched a new business incubation program, the Swiss BIC of CERN Technologies. It supports start-ups in implementing innovative technologies from big science and in transforming them from technical concepts into groundbreaking products or services.
