From 14th to 18th March 2016, CeBIT, the world's largest B2B event in the digital world, was held in Hanover, Germany – a unique opportunity for Switzerland. As a partner country, Switzerland demonstrated its digital competencies and innovation potential to an international audience. Numerous established companies, innovative start-ups and renowned universities represented Switzerland under the roof of the Swiss Pavilion.
Many interesting conversations with high-tech companies, scientists and journalists
PARK INNOVAARE also seized this opportunity to make its international debut, as a part of the Swiss Pavilion at CeBIT. Together with Switzerland Innovation and its four other sites at Basel, Biel, Lausanne and Zurich, PARK INNOVAARE benefited from many interesting conversations with high-tech companies, scientists and journalists.
A great deal of feedback showed high interest in the project. The idea behind Switzerland Innovation and PARK INNOVAARE, which is to sustainably secure Switzerland’s power of innovation and its competitiveness through a network of locations dominated by some of the world’s leading universities and research institutions, was welcomed by many discussion partners. Certain that the idea of an innovation network would be well executed, they said they would keep a close eye on further developments in Switzerland.
