Aargau Services is the cantonal location promotion agency in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland's leading high-tech hub. It supports companies of all sizes and industries with valuable information and concrete, practical assistance: from innovation consulting to the procurement of research and development partners (R&D), from access to funding to coaching for setting up a company. All the finalists of the BIC of CERN Technologies program can take advantage of a free individual consulting package provided by Aargau Services designed to make their relocation/establishment faster and easier.
About the start-up package
Basic information (3 hours)
Individual consultation, basic description of the economic conditions in Switzerland and the canton of Aargau
Needs analysis (6 to 12 hours)
Needs analysis of the company (financial requirements, team/work permit, tax, patent situation), development of a set-up strategy; carried out in part by consulting partners, tax consultants, lawyers, personnel experts
Practical support (Approx. 6 hours)
Preparation and support in dealing with the authorities, including the migration office, commercial register, tax office, industrial and trade supervision, social insurance
Networking with innovation partners (As needed)
Establishing contacts to innovation and financing partners, including Hightech Zentrum Aargau, Genisuisse, Business Angel Club Aargau, venture capital funds of the Aargauische Kantonalbank, and many more; identifying and demonstrating further financing possibilities
Dedicated project manager (12 months)
Provision of a personal project manager who will support the company in all questions regarding establishment and manage the implementation
